She had STYLE... Damn!!!... Heh-heh-heh-heh-heh.................................. ππππππππ ππΏπππππ
Dorothy was very popular in the 1930s when there were "Speak-easy" bars and when Cole Porter was famous for his songs, --- when folks who had "dough," ($$$$$$) were "Putting On The Ritz," (song by Irving Berlin) --- drinking imported champagne, eating caviar and watching Fred Astaire dance elegantly in a tux... (And, this was during the Depression!!!) Dorothy was born a Rothschild... Most people know they had MON-EY, --- were the famous very rich banking family. Dorothy Rothschild had an unhappy childhood, went to a finishing school and had summers at the family beach cottage. She was a writer and poet, --- of course, also a critic, writing for "The New Yorker". ENJOY her wit. >>>
