Meanwhile...

Meanwhile...
I love all creatures. I consider them, all of them, to be sentient beings... I write thrillers, fantasy, mysteries, gothic horror, romantic adventure, occult, Noir, westerns and various types of short stories. I also re-tell traditional folk tales and make old fairy tales carefully cracked. I'm often awake very early in the morning. A cuppa, and fifteen minutes later I'm usually writing something. ;)

They say...

..."I want to buy lots of pretty things." "I want more followers on social media." "I want to race cars."

But, me... I just want to save all the animals.

Big cats like boxes too...

Were The Roaring 20s really that wild???...

For instance, ten years earlier women were wearing their skirts down to their ankles in 1910 and their hair uncut, maybe to their hips. Then, in 1920 skirts were tight and above the knees, --- hair bobbed, cut off at the ears... Then, there was Prohibition, --- from 1920-1933, a time when many average citizens of the United States broke the law. Prohibition also directly led to the rise of Organized Crime. I can hardly believe that lawmakers and other groups who encouraged no-drinking would think that making alcohol illegal would stop people from imbibing. REALLY... Did They expect folks not to drink a little wine or beer in their parlors, or maybe more than a little???

Above, from "Legends Of The Fall,"--- Tristan thinks about going into bootlegging: "Good money in bootlegging, if you know what you're doing."

This one doesn't have a list...

From, --- "The Velveteen Rabbit"...

"Generally, by the time you are real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But, these things don't matter at all. Because once you are real you can't be ugly. Except, to people who don't understand."

And, if you remember the story... The Velveteen Rabbit was thrown outside onto the lawn to be burned because the poor toy had been hugged by the boy all during his bout with a contagious disease. But, a good faerie was listening and watching... The kind faerie transformed the faithful toy into a real rabbit and made him immortal. Years passed. The now live rabbit lived happily in the backyard, doing all the things that live rabbits do. Then, one day, the boy, all grown up, noticed the rabbit peacefully eating grass... He said, --- "How strange. Doesn't that rabbit look like my old bunny toy?" Because, you see, the rabbit had markings, like the seams of a stuffed toy, on his fur.

Josephine's Roses...

Josephine Bonaparte, Empress Of The French, loved her roses. She had beautiful rose gardens at her estate, Malmaison. When British General Wellington came through the area he gave orders that Josephine's roses were not to be harmed. The hardened old soldier appreciated great beauty. Some of Josephine's roses have endured till today. We have their descendants.

"El Tango De Roxanne," From The Movie, "The Moulin Rouge"...

So INTERESTING, --- The History Of The Real Moulin Rouge (The Red Mill)...

Jane Avril, above, and in a Toulouse-Lautrec painting

A star at the Moulin Rouge, --- La Goulue, above

🌸🌸🌸FREEDOM, BEAUTY, TRUTH AND LOVE!!!💋💋💋

Opening in 1889, the Moulin Rouge was the first building in Paris, --- "The City Of Lights," to have electricity. Famous artist Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec painted it's denizens, --- the showgirls and their rich patrons, the star singer Jane Avril. The stucco elephant in the outdoor garden, --- where, supposedly, opium smokers gathered to see belly dancers, cost only one franc, but only men could enter. Moulin Rouge girls, --- the dancers and entertainers, didn't have to sell their bodies to make a good living. Still, they certainly knew how to be seductive.

Oooo-LA-LA!!!... The Can-Can!!!...

That Parisian folk dance!!!...

Which version do you like best???... I like the clip from the 1952 movie "Moulin Rouge," with Jose Ferrer as the famous artist Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. Whoever choreographed it certainly studied the artist's drawings and paintings well.

A True Friend...

A true friend doesn't care when you're broke, being a bitch, what you weigh, if your house is a mess, what you drive, about your past, or if your family is filled with crazy people. They love you for who you are.

The Secret To Writing A Best Seller...

...You write. You stop dreaming about writing. You stop talking about writing. You stop wishing you were writing. And, you write.

INFJ, --- one of the world's rarest personality types...

To put this in perspective, 2% of humans are of this type. That means out of 1,000 people, 20

might be INFJ. INFJ people are usually quite aware they are not like others.

The Lost Romanov Jewels...

Enormous gems, in fabulous necklaces, earrings, brooches, tiaras... Were they taken out of the country after 1917, and sold at auction somewhere???...

I swear empaths can feel things way before they actually find out things...

...They can feel when they're being played. They can feel when their "friends" are being shitty. They can feel when something isn't right.

There is a type of rare empath called a heyokah. Heyoka is a Lakota word. A heyokah is known as The Sacred Fool or The Sacred Mirror. If you spend time with a heyokah when their energy is strong you will never forget that visit. A heyoka may make you angry as the questions a heyoka asks and the things the heyoka  brings out may be truths you don't want to know. A heyoka can instantly discover a phony, a compulsive liar, a swindler or any sort of user, especially, a narcissist. The foolish and shallow underestimate heyokahs, thinking they are eccentric airheads.

Heyokas are quite aware that they're very different. They may have been born a breech baby or with a caul. They are often dyslexic. They can be very quick with some things and abysmally slow with other things. They are very self-aware and comfortable with who they are.

They are often very attuned with all animals and nature and many have so little affinity with machines that they can be said to have negative machine energy. They may not be able to wear a digital watch successfully because the watch will stop after a while or even run backwards. They may have trouble using an ATM machine because the machine won't take a card from their hand. When they plug a device into an electric outlet sparks may shoot out around the plug. They may have trouble using any machine, including computers, sewing machines, microwaves, cellphones, lawnmowers, snowblowers and even cars.

Heyokas are often very creative, clever and intelligent, of course, they are inventive and deep thinkers. Heyokahs are natural healers, and many are clairvoyant or possess other occult gifts. They often look much younger than they are, looking sometimes fifteen to twenty years younger.

Yes... Heyokas are very gifted, but they are usually uncomfortable with others knowing what they are. But, some people guess anyway.
