Hello. I'm Antoinette Beard/Sorelle Sucere, artist and writer of romantic mystery thrillers, kinky historical and fantasy fiction, short stories and occult info, --- alternative as hell. Welcome! This is dedicated to peace & kindness, --- to all the loving, intelligent, brave, wise, strong, gentle, sweet-and-geeky, humble-and-patient, whether they have hands, paws, hooves, wings, fins, or flippers and to all eager readers, everywhere. Scroll down to see yum stuff! ;)
Meanwhile...
Oh, yes, --- I write in a lot of genres, including Noir mystery and romantic western. I also re-tell traditional folk tales and make old fairy tales carefully cracked. I'm often awake very early in the morning. A cuppa, and fifteen minutes later I'm usually writing something. ;)

Rice Is Nice For Aches & Pains...
Warriors can get pretty bruised up. Getting knocked off your horse during a jost is rough. Muscles can get strained from daily sword fighting. But, then, every day 21st century life, apart from time travel, can be physically exhausting too.
This is something that might help and can be made in minutes. Take a bag of uncooked rice. Pour it in a sock so that the sock is filled, but not too tightly. The rice should be able to shake a little and the sock should be flexible. Tie a knot in the end of the sock.
Put the sock in the microwave and heat it till it's nice and warm. Place it on the back of your sore neck, or on the small of your back, etc. ... Ahhhhhhhhhhh... Lovely.
