Meanwhile...

Meanwhile...
I love all creatures. I consider them, all of them, to be sentient beings... I write thrillers, fantasy, mysteries, gothic horror, romantic adventure, occult, Noir, westerns and various types of short stories. I also re-tell traditional folk tales and make old fairy tales carefully cracked. I'm often awake very early in the morning. A cuppa, and fifteen minutes later I'm usually writing something. ;)

Easy To Make Herbal Astringent For Normal To Oily Skin...

This is very easy to make, but you will need fresh herbs.  Dried ones won't do...   To a quart bottle add 1/3 qt. witch hazel and 1/3 qt. plain vodka.  Take 1/3 qt. water, heat to boiling add, slightly crushed, a bunch of fresh lavender, lemon balm, spearmint or peppermint, a handful of honeysuckle blossoms or rose petals and a little orange peel.  Boil till you begin to smell the herbs.  Remove from fire and cool.  Strain.  Pour this cooled liquid into the quart bottle of witch hazel and vodka.  Use this astringent to clean and refresh your skin by wetting a cotton ball and applying it, especially nice in the summer when you keep it in your frig.
