Meanwhile...

Meanwhile...
I love all creatures. I consider them, all of them, to be sentient beings... I write thrillers, fantasy, mysteries, gothic horror, romantic adventure, occult, Noir, westerns and various types of short stories. I also re-tell traditional folk tales and make old fairy tales carefully cracked. I'm often awake very early in the morning. A cuppa, and fifteen minutes later I'm usually writing something. ;)

Blue jays can be stinkers, but they are beautiful...

There's one who comes to my living room window. He's so bold. He cocks his head and looks at me with his shiny round little black eyes.  Jays are a big bird with a loud raucous cry. I like them, can't help it. Still, I know other birds are sometimes afraid of them. There are 3 types of sparrows here, mourning doves, red winded blackbirds, 2 cardinals, --- a gorgeous male and his sweet little female, chickadees, nuthatches, starlings, owls, crows... There's a crazy red headed woodpecker who drums on the plastic gutter covers.

The crows are bully-bastards. They spend a lot of time giving the other birds hell, for no reason at all. One was fighting with the blue jay over food. The crow, --- bigger, drove the blue jay off. I felt so sorry for the jay, but I think he'll be back, regardless.
