Meanwhile...

Meanwhile...
I love all creatures. I consider them, all of them, to be sentient beings... I write thrillers, fantasy, mysteries, gothic horror, romantic adventure, occult, Noir, westerns and various types of short stories. I also re-tell traditional folk tales and make old fairy tales carefully cracked. I'm often awake very early in the morning. A cuppa, and fifteen minutes later I'm usually writing something. ;)

TRUE BLUE ROSES, --- THE FLOWERS OF THE OTHER WORLDS...

BLUE ROSES ARE THE FLOWERS OF THE OTHER WORLDS, --- ALSO, ESPECIALLY, OF FAERIELAND...

("RIDERS OF THE SIDHE," (PRONOUNCED "SHE") --- FAMOUS 1911 PAINTING BY JOHN DUNCAN, FEATURING THE TROOPING FAERIES OF EIRE, THE TUATHA DE DANNAN.)

(ONE OF THE SIDHE, THE TUATHA DE DANNAN, PROBABLY AONGHUS MAC OG, FAERIE AND CELTIC GOD OF LOVE, YOUTH AND BEAUTY.)

OF ALL THE COLORS OF FLOWERS, BLUE FLOWERS, TRULY BLUE FLOWERS, SUCH AS LOBELIA, FORGET-ME-NOTS, HYDRANGAS, GRAPE HYACINTHS, DEPLPHINIUM AND CORNFLOWERS, ARE THE MOST RARE.

JAPANESE RESEARCHERS HAVE PRODUCED WHAT THEY CALL A "BLUE" ROSE BY INTRODUCING THE BLUE COLOR DELPHININ INTO WHITE ROSES, BUT THE ROSE THEY PRODUCED IS NOT TRULY BLUE. THE BEST IT COULD BE SAID TO BE IS A TYPE OF MAUVE OR LILAC.

BLUE ROSES HAVE BEEN CREATED BY DYEING WHITE ROSES BLUE BY IMERSING THEIR STEMS IN WATER TO WHICH INTENSE BLUE DYE HAS BEEN ADDED.

IN MY NOVEL "ELFSTROKE" BLUE ROSES GROWS HUNDREDS OF FEET UP THE WALLS OF THE CASTLE OF THE DAGDA, THE HIGH KING OF THE TUATHUA DE DANNAN, AT HIS MAGNIFICENT FAERIE CITY GORIAS. (THERE ARE 4 TUATHA DE DANNAN FAERIE CITIES, --- GORIAS, FALIAS, MURIAS AND FINDILAS. EACH ONE IS CARVED FROM A SEMI-PERCIOUS STONE AND EACH ONE HOLD A UNIQUE PRICELESS, ANCIENT AND SPIRITUAL FAERIE TREASURE.)

ROSES AREN'T THE ONLY FLOWERS THAT GROW IN THE LAND OF FAERIE, OF COURSE. THESE ARE ALSO FLOWERS OF THE OTHER WORLD. I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU COULD SAY THEY ARE, BUT THEY'RE CERTAINLY PRETTY,; --- AREN'T THEY???...
