"Elvira Madigan," ~ Mozart Piano Concerto #21...

Elvira Madigan: Born Hedvig Antoinette Isabella Eleonore Jensen December 4, 1867 Flensburg, Schleswig-Holstein, Kingdom of Prussia. Died July 19, 1889 (aged 21), Tåsinge, Denmark. Occupation Circus performer Parents Frederik Peter Jensen (father) Eleonora Cecilie Christine Marie Olsen (mother). Hedvig Antoinette Isabella Eleonore Jensen (December 4, 1867 – July 19, 1889), better known by her stage name Elvira Madigan, was a circus performer who performed as a slack rope dancer, artistic rider, juggler and dancer. She is best known today for her romantic relationship with the Swedish nobleman and cavalry officer Sixten Sparre. Their joint death caused great sensation and the event was described in song by, among others, the author Johan Lindström Saxon in a song beginning "Sad things happen", which gained great popularity...

Hmmm... About some of my characters...

In my "SEXIEST JEWELS" contemporary suspense thriller mysteries, Duke Alexandre Valentin Rurik Borisovich Volkov, from a very rich noble Russian family, has been a cat burglar, a "fetcher" for the international crime organization the Shadow Brotherhood for years, stealing in exotic locales, - Paris, Monaco, the Isle Of Capri, Rome, Greece, Istanbul, South America, Africa, Arabia, Mexico... He claims to be an importer. Uh, --- does that mean smuggling?

Will Burton's a buccaneer captain in my pirate adventure series, --- the first novel - "PIRATE HEART", the second - "THE BLEEDING RUBY", the third - "THE OLD SCHEME IN NEW ORLEANS," the fourth - "PIRATE MERMAID" . (Yes, Will Burton talks in "pirate speak," --- using pirate expressions and dialect. Although, he's very intelligent and can speak perfect English, as well as a lord, when he wants to.)

In "RUBY'S CAPTIVE", my adventure of the Old West, Ruby is the half Apache, half Mexican outlaw son of Caliopa Mendez, a school teacher, and Jitendra, an Chiricahua Chief. The second novel, actually a prequel, in the Ruby series is "RUBY & THE APACHE GOLD;" the third is "RUBY & THE APACHE REBELLION".

Faerie and Celtic god Aonghus Mac Og, the seventh child of the High King of the Tuatha de Dannan, the noble trooping faeries of ancient Ireland, is the hero of "ELFSTROKE", the first in my trilogy of fantasy novels set in Old Eire and under the faerie mounds. Hmmm... The Bad Faeries are rebelling, and they're desperate!

Rose Mahoney of "RUBY'S CAPTIVE," is the daughter of Buck Mahoney, who owns one of the biggest spread in the Arizona Territory. She's a big, buxom girl, almost six feet tall and as good on a horse, or with a rope as any cowboy, Her size and her obvious attraction to him is why Ruby Mendez wants her.

Theresa Ruhs is rather innocent and naieve, just the opposite of worldly, sophisticated Alexandre Volkov. When she meets him at the opera she, naturally, has no idea how dangerous he is. Poor girl thinks he's the man of her dreams.

Queen Mab is blue, --- her skin, she's not sad... But, she's quite upset. The Bad Faeries are always hard to control, more than ever now, when they're so horny. In "ELFSTROKE," she thinks she has a way to solve her problem.

Gussie St. Clair is a smart, sassy, lush & gorgeous natural honey blond actress in the Old West. In "HELL'S BELLES," she comes into town looking for a place to stay. Gussie doesn't like the ratty look of the local hotel; she spies a beautiful golden trimmed Victorian house far down the street. It's a whore house, but that doesn't bother Gussie a bit. She's a flexible kind of girl. Later, when she meets law-woman Charlotte Beacon she senses immediately that they'll be BFFs.
