One possum can kill and eat up to 4000-5000 ticks per year, thus helping to protect us from Lyme disease. Possums are shy and scare easily. When frightened they snarl, drool and hiss, showing their teeth. But, possums almost never have rabies; their body temeratures are too low. They can withstand bites from cobras. They are the reason why we have anti-venom vaccine.

Attar Of Roses...

Attar of roses was first made in Persia, very long ago, when someone noticed that rose blossoms hanging over water dropped their petals into a pool. There was formed on the surface of the water a very fragrant oil. This was attar of roses. The way the oil is extracted is the same as it was back then... Damask roses, or Old World roses, petals are floated in a tray of water that is left in the sun. With a cotton ball the oil is soaked up and squeezed into a bottle. Attar of rose is extremely precious for it's rarity. I collected only 1/4 of an oz. of it the year I decided to make it, - only 1/4 an oz. from all my roses! [The most expensive perfume contains attar of roses. The perfume "Joy" is one.] ❤... 😃

Although dandelions are vilified by the "lawn care" industry as weeds, they are the first food in the Spring of our disappearing bees and a mainstay of bouquets picked by children for their Moms. Dandelions also are an important source of food for some birds...finches, for example, disappear from feeders when dandelions go to seed. Dandelions are a sign of a safe, nontoxic lawn for your family, wildlife and pets. Long live Dandelions.

Jabba The Hut was an enormous clay puppet that took four people to operate. Carrie Fisher said the slave costume she wore was not a bikini. It was uncomfortable metal that sometimes slipped. Carrie was so tired of the scenes with Jabba that when it came to the part where she strangled him, rather than have her stunt double do it, she said she'd do it herself!... ;)
